Despite what some commentators here say I feel sorry for them.

#PSA ESTA and some other forms of visa free travel are not visas. Think of them as merely database entries that are most likely managed by some algorithm and arbitrary decisions. I have seen ESTA being shown revoked at the check in counter.

If one really needs to go there please go apply for a real visa. It is an expensive process but it is better to get the denial at the consulate and not at the airport

I am saying exactly nothing about whether Merz statement is justifiable or not.

What I absolutely disdain is such reporting, so called "journalists" who are working actively to shut down any remaining trust in the free media and destroy any political system that depends on them.
