The Sand House was created in Doncaster in the mid 1850s and survived until the Second World War. It was hewn from a massive block of sandstone.

We are delighted to have been awarded a Cultural Connections Grant by the Well Doncaster team at City of #doncastercouncil to help us run our free, #familyfriendly sand art sessions at Danum Gallery, Library and Museum, starting in 12 days' time. Please see poster for details of the activity.
