it's really hard to manually drive a train through the factory because roundabouts are everywhere and turning is a pain. that's my main pet peeve.
Making the factory into modules makes scaling really straightforward. Just make new, bigger module anywhere in the factory while the old modules continue to work. Then when the you're ready to switch over, just reroute the trains.

This factorio build is really over engineered and took significantly more time to build and i still don't have any rockets launched but it was really fun to build.
