The thing that's most frustrating is I have no idea what this is connected to. If someone reported one of my posts, that has not been made clear to me.

I haven't posted anything violent or that would come close to violating any terms of service. The post that first failed to load was immediately after ABC broke news of Meadows' flip and I tried to post "Has Trump posted that he doesn't know who Mark Meadows is yet?"

Worst part is, there's no way for me to bring this to Threads' attention.

So I haven't posted here in quite some time, as I've found a new home in Threads.

That said, yesterday I ran into an issue I'm still perplexed about. For whatever reason I cannot post on Threads. I can like content, I can repost, and I can follow new people. But every time I try to post new content I get the same "post failed" message followed by this pop up.

When I tap "tell us" the dialogue just closes. It is now 2023-10-25 and I am still unable to post.

Even when @npr “quits twitter” they’re still referencing tweets on the air (cc @gbhnews ). Talk about a tightrope.
So much of #Marketing #LinkedIn advice boils down to "hey marketer, he's how to clearly and concisely explain your job and value to that executive who doesn't understand marketing from a hole in the wall" ... and that, is quiet depressing.
Good for NPR for quitting Twitter 💪

👋 Hello #fediverse! I'm going into a meeting at 4ET to talk about our newsroom's social media options.

If you think our station and other #NPR stations should have a Mastodon server or a broader presence in the #fediverse, pls boost this post. If you have thoughts, please reply, I want to hear them!

Been experimenting with #ChatGPT for a few weeks now. Change is constant and what not and I don't want to be left behind ... anyway, the more I use this thing the more I'm convinced that the hype is all marketing. I can't even get this thing to iterate on a simple social post, based on content I've provided it, without it going off the rails. There's no way this is easier than working with a human!

#AI

#NPR will no longer post fresh content to its 52 official #Twitter feeds after being labeled by Elon Musk as “state-affiliated” and then “government-funded media.” https://www.npr.org/2023/04/12/1169269161/npr-leaves-twitter-government-funded-media-label
Again, I am calling on all serious, independent #news orgs to set up their own Mastodon servers for their newsrooms. Allow your reporters to verify on your websites. Mastodon could be the best platform #journalism has ever seen. Not to mention the signal you'd be sending to users!
The exodus continues
