Goed, er is dus een wachtlijst voor opvang van daklozen. Daarom is wachtlijstbemiddeling opgericht. Daarvoor is inmiddels een wachtlijst. Gek zijn ze, allemaal.

Nederland komt aarzelend tot het inzicht dat het een escalerend daklozenprobleem heeft. Terwijl gemeenten daklozen uit ‘het straatbeeld’ weren, strijden daklozen zelf bij de rechter voor een plekje in de overvolle opvang. ‘Of je naar binnen mag hangt af van wie je treft.’

The long arm of #Bigtech:
Got a new phone (had to, banking app no longer supported). So now Android 16 instead of 9.
All kind of pleasant and unpleasant surprises.
In the latter category : Chrome now opens pdf files in Chrome. Saving is only possible to the (Google) drive, no longer locally. Work around (still) possible via print as pdf.

It feels like summer here in #Amsterdam and even this #hummingbird hawk #moth thinks so: it was in my allotment garden sampling the early daffodils. Normally we occasionally see one mid summer, but #climatechange is changing that too. #bugoftheday

In the #Netherlands the elderly do not count anymore. Above age 60 no protection against #shingles is offered https://nos.nl/l/2602120 . Even though it would be very cost effective considering the reduction in #dementia which is associated with this #vaccination.
Old poor people may just suffer (the rich can buy protection).
Is this still a civilized country?
Iedereen die 60 wordt kan straks vaccinatie tegen gordelroos krijgen

Mensen die nu al 60 jaar of ouder zijn, komen niet in aanmerking voor het vaccinatieprogramma.

This is a new message to you where you can see that alot seems two different types of reply exists in Mastodon.
