@BorisBarbour I found an article whose DOI can't be found by PubPeer. DOI is:

PMID is 11642645, which works. Maybe the DOI contains some characters that the PP search function needs to censor to prevent injection attacks?
Right now, Twitter is blocking every Mastodon instance in the world... except gab dot com.
Can someone quickly create a new instance so we can see if this is being done via a large block list, or if they have written code to identify a signature of Mastodon servers (e.g., when trying to show a preview image from a linked site) and block generically?
