@Ashedryden Emacs markdown-mode has never made me manually manage footnotes, and the outline-level editing features makes it super quick to re-order content. It's a great overall editing experience.

In the future, we might see one million more satellites in Earth's orbit. The consequences to astronomy would be devastating.

Fighting for a fair and sustainable usage of space, for astronomy and humanity — that's Betty Kioko's job as ESO’s Institutional Affairs Officer.

@mcc new spin on a classic Hedburg bit 😩
@haraldkliems I've done that ride, it's not very pretty or safe in my experience. Wish there were better trails. (Maybe your route is better than mine was? Did you post a gpx?) Worthwhile if you want to enjoy Chicago by bike over the weekend, but if I can budget time for the longer route via Milwaukee, it's so much prettier and makes better use of protected cycling infrastructure.
@Ashedryden I coded a virtual doorbell that sends me a text message that somebody's at my door. On my front porch where you'd expect the doorbell to be, there's a URL and QR code to display the virtual doorbell on your phone.

This product has all the modern conveniences: it lies to you AND it spies on you!
@purpleidea I don't know what this means exactly, but by the way it's worded I doubt it means your code, which I think they already train on and don't let you opt out of. I think they mean all your other usage of the platform. Basically, can they watch you and train an AI agent that uses the service like you do. Your "inputs, outputs and related context."
