Lawyer: The Supreme Court has now issued your application for PTA. Would you like Leigh Day to draft a press release so that we can provide an update?
Me: Please go ahead. Also explain to me what the application is?
Lawyer: (on annual leave, I think?)

Apparently this meant it was granted.

Huh. I wonder how sighted people like it.

If you get it, boost it.

@dotjayne @JessTheUnstill same for enbies i guess
Apparently I was granted permission to appeal to the UK Supreme Court (I'm seeking to be legally recognized as nonbinary as per my birth certificate) three weeks ago, but only now realized it because I didn't understand the meaning of "issued your application".
At my previous job, I wrote an IP parsing library that rejected cursed inet_aton nonsense, and handled ipv6 strictly. Only way to be sure.
@yossi@techhub.social @dakkar technically, . is a valid hostname
It's absurd how many bots you can banish with few false positives by simply disabling http/1.1 in favor of http/2.

I am upset. People are being hurt. The previous status quo was a compromise accepted only out of fear. But people who hate us beyond reason are stripping away even that.

No more.

Now it's time for us to demand the rights and protection we deserve.

@eleanor I don't want to dig it up, something about telling gay people they should just be celibate.
