@osnews Why? Because we can 🤪
@itsfoss as soon as the CAD/CAM commercial software is ported to Linux, Windows is so gone at work! Hummm… but still waiting 😞
@arstechnica if the Middle East stays in turmoil, SUV’s or anything requiring gas and oil might be to rich for anybody. The horse and buggy might be the future…
@superuserdo if it’s just the graphical login problem you can use alt-ctrl-(f1 to f6) to get a terminal login prompt. This will only work if the system is still booting properly and is usually nicer than working in single user mode.

Not sure where #Google asked for feedback about their developer verification program, but they surely didn't talk with #FLOSS devs, civil society, privacy organisations or their #Android users

#FDroid did since September, and interacted with folks in the Fediverse, forum, email and in person

They all voiced one opinion: "developer verification must be stopped"

@reallylazybear I don’t think the migration to BSDs are because Linux is becoming to popular. It more for its stable development and release approach. It’s very rare to see a major system changes (only with a lot of planning) or tools having to rewritten or replaced. It makes the BSDs boring but very solid. Linux distros on the other hand can, and do, change things on a whim.
@itsfoss with Windows 11 Linux has definitely seen a lot more up take. But there's also a lot of people that have been using Linux for years now migrating to FreeBSD. Although not a Linux Distro, FreeBSD seems to have full embraced this and is another FOSS OS that is looking at a lot of growth over the coming years.

@CactuarJoe these look like it could be a fun fan item but are way to big 😬

If they down sized them to something reasonable they might not be so bad.
