Gotenberg is pretty freaking nice. I'm able to generate thumbnails for pretty much everything I've thrown at it so far, all as a simple Docker service. https://gotenberg.dev

@webology "general detachment and narrow-minded opinions" ... that's it, precisely.

@webology a bit of both. 10 years ago I replaced Twitter's place on my home screen with a meditation app (it's still there today), so there's a pyschological/me problem thing there.

But the signal to noise for me is also low. Way too many reposted unfunny, unoriginal takes on politics, AI, etc. from people I otherwise think or have thought highly of. πŸ˜•

I'm going to try to do some cleanup here, but will probably go write-only on Bsky.

Social media is still social media, and social media is still toxic. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
You know what? Mastodon and Bluesky are giving me the same no-good shitty feelings that Twitter did way back. I've removed the apps from my phone, sometimes remember to check on my laptop, and don't feel like I'm missing much besides a bunch of existential hang-writing into the sky.

I published this yesterday, then noticed today that Superpowers have graduated to the official Claude code skills group! πŸŽ‰ #ClaudeCode

I've been having a blast the past couple of weeks chatting with other engineers at O'Reilly about my Claude Code setup, especially the Superpowers skills! Work friends, my calendar is linked in Slack πŸ˜„ For everyone else, here's a little article I wrote about my processβ€”and why I think Superpowers are changing the game with agentic coding.

Superpowers have changed how I write software (mostly) | Left of the Dev

Software developers who think critically write better code. Here's how I've incorporated an excellent set of Claude Code skills to bake critical thinking into my agentic workflow.

Shoutout to all the #blind #sysadmin's out there: Here is a lightweight, reasonably accessible application for server monitoring. (There are no data tables for graphs but real-time monitoring and alerts work fine.) https://beszel.dev/
