I feel constantly that I can no longer trust the New Scientist magazine since it was bought by the Daily Mail Group. I look through the list of new stories in the app and so many of them are lifestyle and health articles now, there’s just one at the bottom today about climate change that explains how arbitrary the 1.5C target was and 2C is ok too… this used to be a serious science magazine and I feel like it’s been stolen from us like so many other media channels #NewScientist

With Johnson we had the Boris wave of immigration to soften the Brexit blow. Now we’re tearing up vast swathes of the country to build houses. It’s all governments doing whatever they can to stimulate a flagging economy. What we need is income redistribution. We continue to create plenty of wealth but the ownership all goes offshore and we end up paying interest or rent on it… it’s a scam
