I picked up this copy of a Tintin comic in a waiting room. My first time reading Tintin as an adult. These comics are racist as f**k. The coloniser gaze is everywhere. As a child, I felt it but could never articulate it.

Funny incident that happened at Sunder Nursery when I was walking around this mausoleum there.

There are swings suspended from the branches of some of the trees. One young couple arrived. The woman sat in the lap of the man and they started swinging. A woman guard ran towards them, blowing a whistle. I was expecting her to do morality policing and preach not doing PDA. Instead, she yelled, "The swing can't take that much weight. It will collapse and you'll get injured." +
