Zahawi managed to dedicate an entire par of his resignation letter to slagging off the press. Unsurprising given his libel attempts to silence those we now know were telling the truth about him. Deeply deceptive little man.

I often think of this quotation, by the composer Frank Wilhoit, when police violence is in the news: “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protectes but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”

“Photography helps me look at the world in a more creative way. It expresses me in ways i cannot write down for people…I hope to one day let people see what I see and to hopefully admire my work based on the quality and ideals of my work.”

It also feels like something at the end of the show bears repeating: @Gargron, and all the other folks who have been working tirelessly for the past seven years, saved our asses.

To all of you who had the foresight to build Mastodon, a sincere THANK YOU. We're in your debt.
