This is something I've truly been looking forward to sharing.
My application to the Danish Ministry of Culture's KUV (Artistic Research) grant has been approved — and over the next 18 months (August 2026 – January 2028), I get to immerse myself in something I've been circling around for a long time: how movements and vibrations in nature can be registered, transformed, and brought into resonance as choreography, sound, and video.

I just uploaded a recording made with my newish soil mics build by David Stalling of Stille & Klang https://on.soundcloud.com/kgKBjzRLCshSyn9q7

So I set out to test my new soil microphones, built by the excellent David Stalling from Stille und Klang. I found a quiet roadside verge near the forest where I live, full of blooming winter aconites and wood anemones.
I gently inserted the probes into the earth, spaced approximately one meter apart, and listened in on the hidden life below the flowers.
The track was slightly gained in post – no other processing has been applied.

Deep in the process of completing a Pedagogical Research project for SDMK - Danish National Academy of Music 'IMPRESSION - IMPRINT - EXPRESSION' is a teaching material about creative work with sound, representing ten years of development and practice - it's exciting to see it taking its final form.
