A couple of pictures from the Resist Fascism protest in DC this past Saturday

I got to see Scott Bakula play Lincoln in "Mister Lincoln" at the Ford's Theatre last night. Our seats even happened to be right next to the box where Lincoln was shot. Bakula did a great job as Lincoln, and it was a very entertaining and interesting show. I recommend it to anyone who can make it.

Coming from Alabama, it's really nice that Virginia lets people vote early, even on the weekend, without having to justify why I can't go vote on a random Tuesday during work hours months from now. Was able to quickly knock it out this past Saturday, somewhere even closer than my polling place, with no wait at all. This should be standard in all states.

My wife and I just finished up Day 2 of a two week road trip around Iceland's ring road in a camper van. Saw a crater, ate in an indoor tomato farm, saw some waterfalls, soaked in a hot spring pool. Over all, a pretty great day (apart from having a towel stolen at the hot spring).

Highlight of the weekend was The Big Lebowski Experience (a band in character playing songs from the film + costume contest)

Enjoyed seeing and listening to Back to the Future in Concert by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in Bethesda tonight.

"TSA self-screening is the next big step for airport security"

I'll be looking forward to "please place item in the screening area. UNEXPECTED ITEM IN THE SCREENING AREA"

TSA self-screening is the next big step for airport security

Like self-checkout at the grocery store, self-service airport screening will ask customers to scan identification and carry-on bags on their own.

Waiting to board my flight at Dulles for a work onsite in LA. This is my first time using this airport and got/had to use a shuttle to get to the gate, and it's basically a raised train car on tires. Haven't seen one quite like this before.
