I’m really excited for AI to reduce the burden of charting.
But as a student the time I take charting is time I take thinking about my patient’s case.
Also, AI transcription of the conversation /history seems quite useful as it reduces selective memory on the part of the clinician. However the AI doesn’t (yet) know how to differentiate between relevant and irrelevant details.
This is something of a spear pointy at both ends 🤔
