TumblrHappy anniversary to How to Destroy Angels' An Omen EP, released 10 years ago (!!) yesterday. This was a big one for me as it was my first published analog glitch art with the manual VHS/CRT glitching technique I concocted while searching for a new aesthetic for this "Welcome Oblivion" era of HTDA. Ten years later and the analog glitch scene has exploded.
Tonight I'm going to my favorite theater, Seattle Cinerama, to see MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, the black & chrome version I've never seen, on a laser-projected 97ft curved screen with Atmos sound, and I am stoked.
Still digging through this incredible haul I got at SDCC from my friends at Heavy Metal Magazine. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to see HM still going strong after all these years.
