@pixelfed Hi! What am I doing wrong, please?
I set these to import (web browser on Mac) days ago and left the tab open. My account appears to be “stuck”.
Is there a way to address it my side, please and thank you?
I managed to import 9 images when the feature first came out, but they don’t show for others nor do my number of images reflect the number there.

iOS 17 beta testers. Have you managed to generate a personal voice yet?
Mine has been processing for nearly a week. Lock Screen notification suggests needs plugging in and leaving to process.
Ironically, the device was in that state when the notification was displayed causing the display to illuminate and show it (which I will report).
Took my dog for a walk somewhere he’s not been before. He doesn’t like going in water, which is unusual for a cocker.
He mistook stagnant water as a solid surface and jumped into green manky water. He didn’t like it and required a long shower when we got home.
I'm using the PixelFed import from Instagram on the @pixelfed server.
Yesterday, I trialled it with a handful of images. They took a long time to process / appear, but I did suspect that was down to server side processing probably being in batch jobs to protect the environment. Not a problem, I don't expect instant gratification.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or how to suitably manage my expectations though.
Last night, I tried a handful of small jobs (less than ten images) that simply don't appeared to have done anything. I left the browser open, on the page similar to my screenshot example, and left it for a few hours.
Then, this morning, I set an import of 100 images (given I've seen others get several hundred through). The screen has been sat as can be seen in the screenshot. In another browser, I've taken a separate peek at my profile, and no additional images are appearing.

I know the upload of the zip and unpack is local to the browser rather than server side. What am I doing wrong, and am I just impatient?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with my understanding, and if I need to correct something I'm doing to succeed!
I did not see this during #WWDC2023
Apple Photos appears to have “facial recognition” and auto tagging for our pets in what’s been updated to be the “People and pets” album!
Our dog, Reggie, now has an auto populated album and it doesn’t appear to have accidentally included any of his siblings that I’ve also got photos of!
I'm trying out the import from Instagram feature of #PixelFed
I've managed to import one post so far (others seem to be stalled and probably down to my awful upload speed); however, I'm wondering if my post count will require some server side processing before it'll increase?
Why? Because you can clearly see in the screenshot I've two posts, but the counter on the left only shows one. One of these is an import and one is a normal post.
Can you see my posts if my profile is browsed? https://pixelfed.social/i/web/profile/492002757567253626
My weekly check of full fibre availability continues to disappoint.
Is broadband that’s <40Mbps technically still allowed to still be called “broadband”?
I’m sure the terminology gets regraded as speeds go up.
