OpenAI’s operating results in 2025
Revenue: $13.07B
Total Costs and Expenses: $34B
Loss from Operations: -$20.92B
Q1 2026 they grew to $5.7B in revenue and a -$7B operating loss.
Their losses are scaling with revenue which is a bad pattern. The question is if spending will slow or they can pivot to raising prices.

In ieder geval een geslaagde en originele manier van presenteren

"Any increase in European sovereignty will lead to a loss of business for US big tech, and they know this. They do not come to your event to help Europe lower their profits. They come to raise doubts or with dubious attempts to be “part of the solution”.
We also no longer invite the tobacco and alcohol companies to health events. These people too wanted to be part of the solution and look where it got us."

You'd think this would be obvious, but apparently it isn't: Do not invite big-tech to join your digital autonomy discussion https://berthub.eu/articles/posts/do-not-invite-big-tech-to-your-digital-autonomy-discussion/
just found out the vatican used to name their nameservers after the archangels, having had `michael.vatican.va`, `gabriel.vatican.va` and `raphael.vatican.va`; as well as having other servers named after the apostles
this goes kinda hard as a naming scheme, i can't even lie
On the Advisory Board:

TfH mission is to “create a global ID, a global currency, and an app enabling payment with World's own digital token” with irises scanned to verify one’s identity.

European public institutions are betting big on digital sovereignty and open source software. And yet they recently moved their Bluesky accounts to W Social, a private, for profit network owned by Swedish entrepreneurs that has quietly gone closed-source.
