It's driving me nuts that dialog/confirmation windows and some searches on macOS Tahoe don't auto-focus on anything when triggered, rendering keyboard navigation impossible.
When overwriting a file when saving, no button is focused and ⇥ does nothing.
When searching with ⌘F on Finder, search field isn't focused and ⇥ does nothing.
I was puzzled when I saw #Maizena on Alex’s latest YouTube video “The Egg Problem No Chef Has Ever Cracked…”.
To me, this corn starch brand — that’s practically synonymous with the product — was a Brazilian thing that could only be found here, but their official website states that the inventor is a North American man from the 19th century.
I also learned that corn starch was originally used in the textile industry, and that Maizena has been in Brazil for over 140 years.
