Of all the versions of me out there, this is probably the closest to what I am like IRL (sharing interesting and benign observations on my surroundings and random things about my day, enjoying the small/slow interwebs, a little weird, not too serious, and enjoying connecting with fellow internet explorers)
I was shopping for woodworking clamps and they had a pink option, for the women I guess, to indicate we are more delicate and feminine and would only be working with wood for lady things, and I rolled my eyes really hard. But then I ended up getting them because I did think they were cute 😭
pies n thighs, a popular fried chicken restaurant, opened a second location, and gf made a reservation for us tonight. i've never loved a person more 🤩 (not to toot my own horn but i consider myself something of a fried chicken aficionado)

I got a Mitsubishi Uni KH-20 hand crank pencil sharpener for my drafting pencils so my gf gave me her Mitsubishi pencils and I’m obsessed with the box hehe

Dispatches from an in-progress attempt to get unstuck
Hello and welcome to the latest chapter of my midlife crisis, where I’ve done something somewhat impulsive, which is to sign a commercial lease on a (very modest) studio space in Brooklyn. I have felt creatively stuck for a while, and also just generally disconnected and ungrounded from the immediate physical world around me. So I’m hoping that having a dedicated space to make stuff will encourage me to get myself unstuck. (Also paying a monthly subscription fee a.k.a. rent to another landlord in order to hold myself accountable to fixing my own creative constipation better be enough of a fire to get me moving and stop feeling sorry for myself.)
U guys are so nice, I shared my pictures with a joke and movie reference to obscure my bashfulness and u responded so earnestly 😭
