The bare winter trees at night and snow-falling snow are giving solid Upside-Down vibes.
Ever suddenly get overwhelmed remembering old pets that passed? Bleh. I don’t need this right now. Stupid rebellious brain.
Best parking spot ever at PHL. Flight scheduled to land at 8:11. In car at 8:12. Landed 11 minutes early, but still!
Has anyone considered going all-in and inventing the ::instead CSS selector, to completely replace the rendering of an element instead of all of this “hide and use ::before” nonsense? #webdev #css #modernWebDevIsDumb #especiallyCSS
@TheSilentHolographer Just to be sure I’m clear…. The outcome of the roll does matter in this case. But what the stat for the role is, as far as I’m concerned, should be up to them to decide to define.
@skippy It's definitely thought-provoking. I like the interface metaphors at the end, but would have loved to see an implementation/mockup.
#ttrpg #DnD Confession: I often get to a point while GM'ing a game where the outcome is uncertain and I'll ask the players to make a roll. I DON'T CARE WHAT STAT THEY USE I let them pick what they think works best. MY PLAYERS HATE THIS. Why? They feel like the game defines the stats meaningfully and that, say, when investigating, INT is the right stat. But I don't care. When they catch me, I feel guilty. BUT I KEEP DOING IT. Maybe one day they'll see the light.
