Ceci n'est pas un ours.

Jusqu'ici tout va bien.

Does anyone know where I can buy more stickers like this? It's on a defunct MacBook, which adds an extra frisson because it covers the Apple logo. But I know it's a MacBook so I can still feel smug. I want to get a sticker just like it for the working MacBook.

I can't find anything similar in the searches so far. If you know of any suppliers, please let me know. Thanks.

I have just improved Shakespeare.

What a bargain.

Kingdom Come (2006), J.G. Ballard's last book. He exposes the insane underbelly of rampant consumerism as manifested in suburban malls and retail parks along M25 corridor. Consumerism leads to boredom, followed by racist and xenophobic violence, sowing the seeds of fascism.

Twenty years later, we have Farage and Robinson, focusing the 'elective psychopathy' through social media much more effectively than cable channels. And #NewerLabour have made consumerism their idol, their mantra, Growth!

I've been keeping my weekly lottery tickets for years now. It's time to let them go.

CalMac ferry, 'Loch Bute', in Campbeltown harbour. Only posting this because it's the first time I've got the horizon level in a long time.

'Mein bestes Foto 2025'

Not sure if this photo is my best, but I enjoyed this cheeky pigeon foraging among the tables in Greggs at Buchanan Bus Station. A snapper-up of unconsidered trifles.

A welcome addition to the Wee Toon. Love Currywurst. I can pretend I'm in Berlin.

Mastodon.social seems to have changed the way photos are displayed. I used to be able see photos that took up the full width of the message window when I expanded it. Very useful, lots of nice detail. Now they're restricted to a portion of the available width. So this is just me posting a photo (which you can ignore and therefore has no alt text) to see what happens.

Nope. It's reduced in width once posted. What's going on?
