This one needs a new seat, though the seat post moves. There's another one (nearly identical) which I was considering loading up, but then the guy's friend came over and started telling me what was up... apparently his friend, who lives in that house, was served a 60 day eviction notice by his own sister (or so his story was, lol), and he said the guy didn't do anything about it. The friend said he offered to help the guy clear out the house -- sell everything. But the guy is in denial (or was). So the sister and her husband took possession yesterday and now are throwing everything he owns out on the front lawn.
The friend says he thinks his friend is out in the back in an RV he owns, locked in their... maybe hungover or high or whatever. He told the neighbor (who had just pulled into the driveway) that hopefully they won't hear gunshots (!!).
Also said there's another 100 or so bikes in the back and to "keep checking back".
Anyway, quite the drama... 🤷 You can't make this stuff up.
The Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer (SMILE) space observatory will launch tomorrow May 19, at 3:52 UTC, from EuropeSpacePort in French Guiana.
SMILE will study the magnetosphere of the Earth in soft X-rays and UV, improving the understanding of the dynamic interaction between the solar wind and Earth's magnetosphere.
The SMILE mission is a collaboration between ESA and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
