When I started my freelancing business with #PHP and #WordPress I hung this up on my office wall too.
Thrilled to see my lack of football knowledge is genetic. My son right now: "at least Manchester has a football team, you never hear of the London football team winning any matches". Couldn't be prouder.

🎄The best Cliff Richard Christmas song is not “Mistletoe & Wine”, it’s “Little Town”.

🎄The best Paul McCartney Xmas song is not “Wonderful Christmastime”, it is “Once Upon A Long Ago”.

🎄And the double A Side of Wham’s “Last Christmas” is “Everything She Wants” which is, head and shoulders, the superior track.

Oh - and best Xmas song of all time is the Waitresses and Xmas Wrapping which wasn’t even a hit 🎅

“Shouldn’t we at least put a photo of a mug with steam coming out of it on the box?”

“Nah mate. If they’re too cheap to buy Lemsip, they can take what they’re given. Dust off that old copy of Lotus Word Pro, stick in some clip art and just type it up”

“Can I use lower case at least?”

“No. Caps lock is all they deserve. Oh and one other thing?”

“Yes?”

“Make sure it tastes like crap”.

Such sad news about Christine McVie. Remembering being 16 again and wearing out my "Rumours" album I played it so much. Here's her #DesertIslandDiscs from 2017. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b09jby2m

* I was only 13 and had no idea how the kit worked, so somebody else actually 'played' it.

‘We wanted a Phil Spector kind of feeling. The studio we recorded it in was so hi-tech we couldn’t even work the salt shakers.’

*my eyes open wide, a glass slips from my hand and shatters on the floor*

What if Jolene was Death?

Today I discovered a man called John Fashanu (can you tell I’m not a football expert). Anyways, I wish I hadn’t. Blimey.

Another year, remembering that my wife hates tinsel.

What drives such a level of Christmas decoration vitriol?

This might be a bit niche but doesn't Jan Hammer's 'Candy' sound like a ZX Spectrum rendition of Ryan Paris' 'Dolce Vita'?

It's 11.45 on a Sunday evening. And this is my life.
