There’s a quiet beauty to a foggy morning in Somesville, Maine. I made this image in June during my Springtime in Acadia workshop. The historic Selectmen’s Building and its arched bridge stood reflected in the still mill pond, wrapped in soft mist. A calm, timeless moment on Mount Desert Island.

Summer evenings on the Kancamagus Highway are pure magic. As the sun set over Lower Falls, the warm light turned the water to gold and softened the granite ledges of the White Mountains. One of those moments you can feel long after you’ve left the scene.
