Project Hail Mary - one of the better space films I've seen in a while. Fear, bravery and real humanity at its core. Ryan Gosling nails it, cinematography is stunning and the soundscape pulls you right in. Big screen this one. #ProjectHailMary #Movies
Was buzzing for Bugonia and happy to say it absolutely delivered! One of the best I’ve seen all year – clever, sharp and kept me guessing. I went in blind and think that’s the best way to get the full impact.

#TheBrutalist has set the bar high for 2025! Over 3.5 hours (inc intermission), but I was hooked the whole time. Excellent cinematography (filmed on vistavision, finished on 70mm film) with brilliant performances from Adrien Brody & Guy Pearce. A long one, but worth it! #Movies
Went into Companion blind…pleasant surprise! Fun, solid sci-fi thriller with a dash of horror, and great to see Hughie from The Boys in a leading role! Original take on subject, definitely worth a watch! #TheCompanion #Movies #NowWatching
Pharrell’s life story told entirely in LEGO! Piece by Piece ticks a few boxes for me being both a doc and about music. Really well made and I forgot how many bangers he produced! Thumbs up from me! #PieceByPiece #Movies
Heretic delivered! Hugh Grant’s best role in ages – he’s truly diabolical here! Great cinematography and gripping story that delves into faith and philosophy wrapped up in a psychological horror. Well worth a watch! #Heretic #Movies
Caught The Assessment at #LFF – Set in a dystopian world where you need to take a test for the right to have a child. Not an easy watch, but a great film! Elizabeth Olsen and Alicia Vikander are both brilliant in it.! #Movies #TheAssessment
Caught A Real Pain and was lucky enough to have the full cast in the house! Kieran Culkin was hilarious as always balancing out some of the somber themes, and had a great chemistry with Jesse Eisenberg. definitely worth a watch! #Movies #ARealPain #LFF2024
Caught The Piano Lesson at LFF as my second film. Loved the score, and cinematography, but ultimately the story itself didn’t grab me as much as I hoped. Solid, but not one that left a huge impact. #ThePianoLesson #Movies #NowWatching #LFF2024

Kicked off London Film Festival with “Eight Postcards from Utopia,” an experimental doc from Radu Jude. It’s essentially a mash-up of post-Communist Romanian ads, showing the weird and cringy side of that transition period and capitalism being brought in big time! Really cleverly edited, with some really funny moments throughout… Wild how misogynistic advertising was back in the day! Worth checking out if you’re into quirky, experimental docs.
