mac: DNS 100.100.100.100 killing your public WiFi access
OK so this one has been driving me absolutely crazy. You're on your Mac, everything is working great except when you try to log to one of those pesky Public Hotspots. These are the ones that do DNS magic (they basically seize any DNS request and redirect them to the logon screen. I tried the usual things, is NordVPN or Proton

This is actually pretty confusing but the main thing is that Altoona thing sAmazon Household has disappeared. The text is confusing. It says you can share your prime benefits with one adult and four children but it turns out this is a bit of an oversell. It should say select (and very few benefits).

pen: Narvalur Pen Jam, do not force
Well, I finally decided to get three more pens, and I ended up losing one to my stupidity, so here's the latest on my fountain pen hobby.

OK, for those of you new to the hobby, I've had these pens for a while, and I've never had a jam. But I took my cheapest pen, the $50 Narvalur, on the road, and the thing just stopped writing.

Pen: 40 year old Parker GTE cartridge ISO-12575-2 G2
Well I discovered in my mom and dad’s stuff a GTE labeled pen. It must be at least 40 years old and I help but want to use it again. But what is the cartridge.

Well a little sleuthing helps. It is ¼ inch in diameter and 3 7/8 inch long. Turns out this is a Parker G2 standard cartridge and is now ISO-12575-

mac: Anyoyo TB502Pro vs Hagibis ASM2464PD
I got the Hagibis early this year and it has rocked. It is a Thunderbolt 4 drive and with the very fast Samsung 990 Pro, it can do 3GBps read and write easily. Saturating the 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4.

It was about $120, but now you can get it for $60 from Aliexpress so the progress has been crazy. The main issue with it is that actually getting the back cover off is
