Pentagon spokesman Brig. Gen. Patrick S. Ryder has confirmed that Ukraine shot down the Russian Kinzhal missile with a Patriot air-defense missile.
@anderspuck @simonhoejbjerg how big a deal is this? As a layman my perception so far has been that Kinzhals, being hypersonic missiles, have been a threat to which we've had no defense against.
