IRAN HAS HAD NO INTERNET FOR 2 MONTHS
⚠️ Update: The internet blackout in #Iran has entered its 19th day with international connectivity still unavailable after 432 hours to all but a chosen few.
As the world debates if or how the war should proceed, one voice is effectively missing: the voice of the Iranian people.
⚠️ Update: #Iran's wartime internet blackout has entered its 14th day with connectivity still at 1% of ordinary levels after 312 hours.
As authentic voices are silenced and civilians are left without vital updates, a steady flow of regime-approved content fills the void.
Had my first contribution to the gnome-shell project, it was a fun process :D

The muted indicator status is currently hard to distinguish from the unmuted one. As there is no privacy concern when muted, don't apply the privacy-indicator styling in that...
I got the The Oracle archetype!

I added a new CI check to Drum Machine, it now automatically checks if the .pot translation template file is up to date. If I forget to regenerate it after adding/changing translatable strings (which I usually do), it reminds me :D
You can add it to your own projects as well, just copy the translation-check job from the workflow file and change the paths!

We’ve published a new talk from the Debian 13 Release Party at Sharif University:
a presentation in Farsi by @revisto introducing the Persian GNOME community, its formation, and the many ways people can contribute to @gnome, from design and development to translation, extensions, and app creation.
If you're interested in GNOME, contribution pathways, or becoming part of the community, this talk is a great starting point.
