This is former Utah judge Kevin Christensen, charged with 8 counts of child sexual abuse. He's pled to 3 counts, and faces up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Not an immigrant. Not a drag queen. Not undocumented.

He is, however, an elected Republican official.

Every single case he's ever heard should be reviewed and reconsidered. I'm hopeful the abused children get the care and support they need & deserve.

19 day patio garden update!

Well, things are going really well so far. My Cherokee purple tomatoes have taken off! I'm so excited for them! Only one pea plant came up, so I'll need to plant 3 more seeds. I found out that transplanting carrots is difficult, so I did my best but planted some more seeds just in case. I also added a planter of lettuce. Unfortunately no cherry tomatoes sprouted, so we will re do those as well.

I've always been into gardens and plants in general. Growing up my parents had a very large garden. Since moving out 26 years ago, I've always lived in rental spaces. So access to garden space has been limited. This year I decided that pots will do the trick for some big tomatoes and sugar snap peas and lettice.

Here is my diy junk green house to start my seeds. It's just made with stuff I had laying around. Excited to give some updates as the season continues. ✌️
