How about considering coming over to #guix @rek2. Maybe you will find what you were looking for in arch and gentoo there. Note the guix community is also actively supporting the #hurd and even ramping it up https://guix.gnu.org/en/blog/2026/the-64-bit-hurd/

I can only hope that the American people realize and will act on the knowledge that a capitalist society simply negates democracy. That representative democratic institutions are too weak to reign in a capitalist system. @rbreich

I cannot factually see that generative AI is technically threatening
intelligent labor, given the confabulations (incorrectly referred to
as "hallucinations"), the fact that it cannot invent only regurgitate
unless a human injects intelligence, awareness and ethics. I fear the
societal willingness to foster collective stupidity @wingo @cwebber @pjotrprins @janneke
