I co-run/co-founded GamingForGood.net & the Athene YouTube & Twitch channels + SingularityGroup.net.
Ping me if you've got any idea how to add your game as a category for people to livestream in on YouTube as well as Facebook (fb.gg).
@funkeh Hi there, I kind of randomly bumped into your Mastodon feed and since it seems you are a game dev in China atm, I was wondering, do you have any experience/insight into game publishing in China? My company is about to launch a mobile game and China seems so... difficult.
Still trying to learn about how game publishing works in China. From what I understand, PUBG Mobile has been available there long before it got government approval and the way they were able to do this was by taking out IAP? So completely free games are ok without license?
It's fascinating how China has been so restrictive towards video game publishing yet Steam has not been banned there and is sort of a 'grey' marketplace. Trying to find out if there is a popular Android equivalent 'app store' to this that we could initially publish CoS on.
If you've never seen a toot with a CW before, this is what it looks like!

Oh, one thing for y'all who are new to Mastodon: definitely make use of the Content Warning feature!

This feature is best used, for example, if you'd like to talk about politics. Not everyone has the energy to see or talk about heavy issues, so putting a CW on your toot will help other people decide if they want to engage. It gives them the ability to opt in, if they want to.

I've also seen it used when people talk a lot about a single topic or when they have to vent about something.

Nice. Dana is now on Tooter too. Go follow @withafeather
Skype's latest update makes it more purple. We also got a mail from Microsoft asking for input on what we'd like to see improved in Skype as gamers/streamers. Did Microsoft just find out about Discord?
Just discovered there is no 'retweet with comment' equivalent on Mastodon. Has there been any hints that this may be implemented in the near future? Seems like such an essential feature.
