I'm looking for full-time work!

I work at the intersection of social and technical systems, and specialize in building up people, programs, partnerships, and organizations around open source.

I have a deep track record in complex community relations, am fluent in the nuts and bolts of many technologies, and have spanned governance, org development, nonprofit and people management, comms, marketing, events, and beyond.

Let's fly!

@cjd The proof that after 7 years of marriage you're still a mystery to me 😂
@serge I once saw a candidate whose GitHub was full of forks and nothing else. It looked like a very active profile with lots of projects, but in fact they hadn’t written a single line of code themselves - whether with LLMs or on their own.
@dentangle Very interesting and insightful! Thank you for taking the time to answer!

Should a remote worker’s location matter when determining their salary?

I’m also curious why, so please explain your reasoning.

@evan Also it should probably include all the options: people who don't do certain actions should have a chance with their ideas and so on. And if they lack those too, then who knows, maybe they just look good - that's a thing as well in our society; it does have value. Plus we don't have the chance to know most people, so you judge by what you can get from them, even if it's just a surface.
@evan Is there a way to change our vote? I wanted to vote Their actions and ended up with Their ideas.

ANTI-CAPITALIST AFFIRMATIONS

- i deserve to spend time doing things that make me feel good and whole.

- i am capable of listening to my body and responding to what it needs.

- it's okay if i no longer have ambitions for a career.

- i am worth so much more than what i produce for the consumption of others.

- it's okay to redefine what a successful life looks like for me.

- i am allowed to enjoy things simply because they bring me joy.

- spending time doing something I love is enough

@cjd What makes this 'average person' particularly interesting in this case is that when we talk about chances to get a disease, it's often not in your actual control and there's little you can do to avoid it. However, in a marriage, it's about behaviour most of the time - of two unique people. That is something one has way more control, every day. I can understand why it's relevant to my 'succes' of not getting a disease to look at 'average person' statistics, but in a marriage, not so much.
