L’April est l’association qui promeut et défend le logiciel libre et les libertés informatiques. En plus des activités de ses bénévoles, l’association salarie quatre personnes qui travaillent au service du logiciel libre, Elsa, Étienne, Isabella et Frédéric. Depuis trois ans, notre situation financière n’est plus à l’équilibre. Les restrictions budgétaires des collectivités (Paris et Toulouse qui stoppent, peut-être temporairement, leur adhésion), la baisse du chiffre d’affaires d’entreprises, l’érosion des membres physiques font que, en cette année 2025, l’April a besoin de 30 000€ pour finir sereinement l’année.
