Today's view out my window... shadows at sunset. Ah, the weekend is here!
Dusk.. And another beautiful January day in the Willamette Valley.
The sunrise this morning was spectacular! Another non rainy day in Sherwood, Oregon
Not often that I get a glimpse into corporate values outside of SW companies... But spotted these through the window at PDX Movers (a moving company located next to our favorite local brewery, Stickman's... ). These seemed reasonable, fun, and definitely worth sharing!
Today's bake. Pumpkin sourdough.
OK, and just for fun, one evening some of us at the PLoP conference took part in axe throwing. I was pretty crappy at it. But we had an excellent instructor who was patient and adjusted how each person could throw. These two photos are of my axe throwing teammates, a father and son who attended PLoP. They were pretty good axe throwers.

This year's PLoP (Pattern Languages of Programs, People, and Practices) is in the books. We had a lot of fun at the conference, but also intense writers' workshops, imagination run wild sessions, and time to enjoy the outdoors. If you are interested in reading the papers that were workshopped, check out our program page (https://plopcon.org/plop2024/program/).

And for a moment of zen, here are photos I took of the moonrise and sunrise at Skamania Lodge where we held our event.

Calling all patterns enthusiasts... PLoP 2024 will be held at Skamania Lodge in the Columbia River Gorge. While the deadline for patterns papers and essays is past, we're still looking for a few great Imagination Run Wild Session Proposals. DM me if you have questions. https://plopcon.org/plop2024/

The sunrise is gorgeous this Monday morning in Sherwood, Oregon. Looking forward to a rain free day.
As it is cold, I've been staying (mostly) inside. Here's today's sourdough bake I made this a.m.
