What if Survivor's merged players stayed merged instead of were immediately put into random small tribes? What if 15 players at Tribal Council voted—and then were told they'd have to vote again immediately? And then again! What if all 15 had to vote for three players at the same time?! What if two players didn't just disappear for the whole episode?

When Top Chef's judges can't agree on what they want yet they're mad at the chefs for not delivering it, that's a failure of challenge design, not cooking.
