Burn it. Burn it all down.

I'm so torn. I met this really friendly Green Cheek Conure at a nearby pet store a few days. I've wanted a parrot for a long time.

The problem is I have four cats and a dog. I think some of the cats wouldn't care about a bird, but our newest cat was a stray who definitely hunted mice and birds. Our dog also loves chasing other animals.

Even if the other pets are ok with a bird, how will the bird handle seeing cats and a dog? I don't want him to be stressed out and afraid all the time.

FuckYoubooks.

In the greater scheme of things, the local JD Vance mural isn't even that offensive. It doesn't depict him with a Hitler mustache or in rifle crosshairs or any of the other hateful imagery MAGA loves to use.

The fact that they're getting upset over a mural that just makes Vance look goofy shows how intolerant they really are.

Enjoying reading local MAGA folks on the neighborhood Facebook group whine about a new mural mocking JD Vance.

You gotta love people obsessed with "owning the libs" and attacking Democratic politicians suddenly cry that they're victims of hate when the tables are turned on them. Remember, when conservatives accuse somebody of something, they're almost always the ones actually doing that something.

Ugh. Someone went around and put American flags up on a bunch of houses, including mine. I’m all for honoring fallen troops, but for many years now Republicans co-opted the flag as a symbol of their nationalism and hate.

Now I wish I had a pride flag to put up next to it.

Seems legit...
M-M-Max!
Thanks to the cheap Chinese Lego knockoffs, we finally get the team-up we’ve all been waiting for.

Holy crap! I'm happy to report that after 3 worrying weeks, our lost cat Squirrel is safe and sound.

The insane part is that she just showed up *in the house* yesterday. She's boney, but otherwise ok. Where the hell was she?!? Did she find some secret way into a wall or crawlspace? How did she live in there for 3 whole weeks? (Did she find some tasty mice and drink water dripping from the leaky roof?) Why did she finally emerge now? I guess we'll never know for sure. So weird!
