Haven't been on here in ages. However, sitting in professional development frustrated that teachers are arriving 33 minutes late. This isn't just one person who got stuck in traffic, it's about 1/3 drifted in late.

Today marks 69 years since Brown vs. Board of Education, which outlawed racial segregation in schools and brought us closer to equal protection under the law. As we acknowledge this anniversary, let’s all recommit to building a more just and equitable future for all students.

BREAKING: The Department of Education has launched an investigation of Granbury ISD's decision to remove LGBTQ books from its libraries. The move follows @ProPublica and @texastribune reporting with NBC News back in March.
The Dept. of Ed's Office for Civil Rights investigation is believed to be the first related to the nationwide movement to ban school library books dealing with sexuality and gender.
