Want to chase the light fantastic (holder bio - more details coming soon)

Sunset , and sunset coloured clouds over Delhi.

After a hot day , not the hottest ofbthe summer, the sunset coloured clouds provided visual relief.

This moment was fleeting, soon after it became brooding grey clouds against a darkening grey sky.

A new kind of sun roof

Or Sun bathing

Not sure what, but amidst all the heat and crowd I i think this dog found the safest , maybe the coolest place philosophically but maybe not the coolest pace in the summer heat.

A drystone wall isn't one habitat, it's several, stacked vertically. Each zone has its own microclimate and its own community of species. Taking down a wall is an education in this. Also, occasionally, a surprise toad situation.

This week's Drystone Diary is about the fauna of the wall, from stonechats on the cope stones to adders in the foundations.

Drystone Diary - The Living Wall: Fauna

Exploring the wildlife habitats hidden inside drystone walls, from stonechats and birds of prey on the cope stones to wrens foraging inside the courses, common lizards basking on the south face, and slow worms, adders, toads and hedgehogs sheltering in the foundations.

Some help

Some months ago someone posted about "taking a public stand"

That people would rather condone a crime or criminals (or even just bad behaviour or bad ethics) just so that they (individually ) don't seem either controversial or be seen as someone who mature and take a "balanced view".Even if taking such a stance is actually detrimental to themselves or their community.

Wonder if anyone can help me find this "post".

Digital resilience starts with control.

SUSE’s latest report explores how organisations are approaching digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, AI transparency, and infrastructure independence.

With open source playing a central role, the message is clear: resilient digital infrastructure needs to be transparent, adaptable, and under your control.

What are your thoughts? Is your company or organisation concerned about this?

Here's a tortoise or terrapin or something, just hanging out on the edge of a concrete pond.

"Is this a selfie point before selfie points were being made" ?

@amenonsen don't say Russell's vipers are easy to id. Their fat body and resemblance vaguely to Pythons makes people believe they are baby pythons 😭. Until the behave like something sent by the grinning naughty reaper.

Some of the inhabitants from the snake park at Malampuzha. (I didn't bother to photograph most of them because they were behind glass, or wire mesh, or both.)
