When I was a kid, our knowledge of planets ended at Pluto, in our own solar system. Today, we're analyzing the atmospheres(!) of exoplanets lightyears away. Truly incredible progress. There's so much bad news, but also amazing things happening daily that don't get the attention they deserve. We've really only just begun to step out of the caves...

@teledyn @schamspeare at least we have chapter select now. I used to have to watch these on TV, with commercials! Talk about patience lol
@schamspeare I haven't seen it in a long while, but I remember it being pretty good! Lots of science-y stuff and a kind of moving plot about the scientists daughter or something. Also, late 80s Japan is a vibe unto itself, so there's that.
