@[email protected] YEAH exactly. ive just been avoiding leaving because finding a new doctor is such a damn hassle. Took me months last time.
@[email protected] i think it's technically not solely because she doesn't give identifying information like name or physical description, but regardless of the legality its certainly morally wrong.
Last appointment, she even brought up another trans client of hers completely unprompted and told me she's "basically a woman at this point" and went in depth about what surgeries she'd had done. Straight up told her "that's neither here nor there, and honestly that's none of my business".
She's actively spoken negatively and divulged highly personal information about her other clients to me during appointments, given me completely contradictory information about whether I'll be able to get my meds or not, and straight up lied about how much the prescription she put me on would cost (told me it'd be $5 before ringing it up, ended up being $32 and I couldn't buy my groceries because of it).
I have told her over and over again that I have no car, no license, and no income right now. she just keeps recommending I up and leave my entire support network to live closer to her office, a town where I know nobody, and work at a call center that's hiring like crazy for good pay (huge red flag, means they have high turnover despite paying well) even though there are NO apartments in walking distance of where this place is.
my med management doc didnt prescribe me enough meds to get me through to my next appointment AGAIN, even though I told her exactly when I was setting the next appointment, and she's not returning my calls asking what's going on or what I should be doing to get my medication on time.
idk if I'm paranoid but I think she's actually trying to force me into going to more appointments than I can afford to ring more money out of me. I think its time to find a new doctor...
