Something really monumental is happening in Poland right now. Marriage licenses of same-sex couples married abroad are finally being transcribed into the Polish marriage registry.
This started with a European Court ruling, but the Polish government was stalling until a series of wins by individual couples in Polish courts. Now the dam is broken, and the first couple who didn't go through the court first was just entered into registry in Wrocław. Guys that have been together almost 50 years. 🥹
