the best thing i can tell you to do is pick a way to help people that won't totally overwhelm you and just do that. start small. you don't need to witness everything bad that happens to be effective. scream whenever you need to but don't make it your whole deal (that is what i am for)

Cat 🐈‍⬛🛰️ @catbailey has been hit with a ballooning power bill despite being on a payment plan.

The power company is now demanding a minimum of $2200 before Wednesday, March 4th or they will kill the power to Cat's home.

There are still other bills to be paid. They also need food for both humans and cats.

And the family is still hoping to downscale into an RV.

Cat 🐈‍⬛🛰️ @catbailey is looking for work as well. Remote work would be ideal! Please contact her for more info.

It is a super stressful time for Cat.

Please help Cat get through this. Everything, anything, is very much appreciated.

#FDroid did since September, and interacted with folks in the Fediverse, forum, email and in person

They all voiced one opinion: "developer verification must be stopped"
