I can look at it from a distance, and think...
"Well, at least Russia doesn't have as much artillery anymore." But it really hurts seeing things go to shit for brave men defending their country.
Ultimately they gave their lives, in hard, awful ways, so that others could live. The best & bravest? The most likely to die.
I know rationally that it's likely to be true, but it breaks you to see it play out.
