Some of Fedora's infrastructure is under DDoS. Earlier, while trying to access Copr, I thought my browser or ISP was acting up since all the down detectors were green and no one was talking about it.

Just upgraded to Fedora 42, no deprecations found… yet.
Noticed one thing tho—fetching metadata was slow as hell. Speeds were bouncing between 50–300 KiB/s, way below what I should be getting.
Actual package downloads were fine at 3–6 MiB/s.
Forgot to mention the SE messing with this, now idk if it should be allowed or not and also xfce4-session crashing when trying to switch user;
That being said, i submitted the postmortem report before finishing the chapter 1, and the suggestions i wrote are already in there… you just unlock them after clearing chapter 1… how would i explain that to professor now 🙂
This nearly gave me a heart attack few hours ago…,Thankfully it turned out to be the end of chapter 1 only 🤧
I installed it a few weeks ago, but only opened it like once or twice. However, Since i got an assignment to write a postmortem report for my game dev course (any game), i chose battle cats… it was pretty weird to write about it like i couldn't find ways to explain without sounding like a maniac…

Idk if i should go forward with it anymore… the kernel (4.9) i got is a bit older than what my device actually have (4.19), the same goes for the firmware… it seems like they might be the ones for this device tho.
Also vivo is an ah, the download kept failing cuz they kept closing the connection (my internet speed isn't fast enough), and i had to literally go to browserling and download the archive from there and then share it with myself using another service 💀
Vivo also expires the token the moment download window pops up, so you can't even copy the download url to curl 🤡
So I've been thinking about porting either #lineageos or #ubuntutouch on my #vivo y20 2021, however the issue is idk if the kernel i need to build #halium is the one that's mentioned on vivo's site, like y20 was released in 2020 but then re released in 2021 (the one i have)… it's currently running android 11, however the kernel available is for Android 13???
Is that really supposed to be for vivo y20 2021?? 🤧
I'm trying to update hp bios through local media, and installed the bios file along with uefi diagnostic through win10 qemu/kvm 🙂
