@djb I read all your posts, but I'm not a cryptographer. My personal biased recommendation for someone missing a lot of context would be an "ELI5" summary to make certain story telling more obvious.

Eg: "IETF chair is pushing agenda X or Y b/c I think they are being coerced by Z" or whatever

I can't believe it's been over 11 years

Some big news!

#mgmtconfig has been approved as a recipient of the "NGI0 Commons Fund" from the "NLnet foundation".

There will be money to pay some of you to complete upstream tasks. If you're interested please let us know. In particular there is going to be money for some algorithmic work, performance engineering, and more!

@amsterdam I'd love to but travel budget isn't in the cards right now :(

Haha, if I had a paid #mgmtconfig workshop to give, I'd be there in a flash!
If you want to find a customer for one, I'll split the profits with you =D

@amsterdam Oh no doubts here. I just didn't realize you were doing paid workshops all this time!
@amsterdam Haha, well put. I hope you publish some info on how well this goes (or went if you did it before) since it's an interesting conferencing organizing pattern I hadn't considered before. Maybe we can learn something from it, either good or bad. Good luck!
@amsterdam What would happen if the sponsor paid the money, showed up prepared, and nobody came to the workshop?
@amsterdam I guess I don't go to many very corporate conferences these days. You got me thinking anyways, thanks for that! I genuinely would like to hear about how it goes. (Eg: have you done this model in the past? Did it work well?)
