@AleF2050 It's your first attempt, the only way to fail is to not learn anything. But with perseverence, you may also end up with a working game. I've heard not being too ambitious is a good approach in a first game. Everything is harder than it looks (or gets harder later).

@efi @memoriesin8bit this is exactly what I was going to point out. I'd spent my time in getting all sounds in of the scales that sound good no matter what note you hit. The pentatonic one is probably the best.

@inaction_figure @mattesilver well... as a language, JavaScript leaves a lot to be desired. There are a lot better languages.

For the web, maybe webasm is starting to be viable? I know when I asked Claude to write webasm it defaulted to Rust.

For the backend, we should have never picked up JavaScript in my opinion. But moving to Rust doesn't make sense.

@mattesilver I mean, I've heard people talk about moving from Javascript to rust. I don't know anything connecting those statements with anything else, like any tool chain.
