@atpfm Re 609, I still use the iPhone SE, and I didn't upgrade to the 13 mini because it was still too large for me. I suspect that there were some other people like me who had the same issue — the 13 mini was not an upgrade over the SE, so I didn't buy it. (Also, I'm probably in a minority, but I would prefer to have fewer cameras than worse battery.)

@atpfm I managed to get too far behind, so I'm just getting to 607, but I want to say that yes, I _was_ banned (well, restricted) from "paper" when I was in the sixth grade. For several months, my teacher asked my parents to supervise all my reading and only allow me to read for homework, and told the school librarian that I wasn't allowed in the library, because I did nothing but read... (yes, this was in the 80s, but still...)

@unpretty I'm terribly sorry to bother you, but you seem to be the most knowledgeable person about RSS in my social arena. Do you know of a way to follow private Tumblr blogs via RSS? I have a Tumblr account that follows the blogs, but I much prefer reading in my RSS reader...

@atpfm I think that, at least in part, some of the blow up at NaNoWriMo is not that they have an opinion about AI tools, but that they said objecting to their use is "classist and ablest"? This kind of paints those who do object to their use into a corner where they should now be "cancelled", so they have to respond to NaNoWriMo vehemently to ensure that they are not seen as bad people...

@atpfm Regarding Apple's "robots" from episode 601, do you remember the Mobile Armatron (or even just the regular Armatron)?

@siracusa Just listening to ATP 598. Re curbside charging: this exists in Boston. I've seen it right near Government Center (just outside the Verizon building on Cambridge St). I don't own a car, so I've never tried it, but it does exist not too far from you...

@atpfm Thanks for re-opening the store! I had a bad fall a few weeks ago, and my hoodie suffered a fatal zipper problem; now I can get a new one!
