Trying to setup a kickstarter campaign but it looks like their image processor just went down, they all fail. Plus, damn. Squashing concept art into 350 pixel box really wasted a lot of visual fidelity.

Why is blender doing this? why does a perfectly square cube in cube projection create FUCKING WAVY LINES?

This was an attempt to replicate another issue i have in a simple scene and even that wont work ffs.

Please tell me if I am dumb or not.

In #blender when you make a material, why can I not add a Bake node that takes input and saves it to a file with some specific render settings.

Changing global render settings to render a single thing and then having to change it back is such a pain and feels very inefficient.

Add to that it just doesn't really make sense? It looks FINE in the preview, bake it, sorry, the light was blocked. I JUST WANT TO BAKE WHAT I CAN SEE RIGHT NOW PLEASE.

@MailInABox Maybe you're already aware, but in your update page if you run the "update system software" command before you run the "update mailinabox" command it will update your Ubuntu to an unsupported version (22.04 -> 24.04 atm)

Then the MITB update won't run. Might be worth wrapping that first command somehow..
